Description of Service
Daily Sword provides daily Bible verses, spiritual warfare tools, and AI-powered spiritual guidance to help users engage with Scripture. The App offers 365 curated Bible verses with nature backgrounds, battle verses across 15 categories in 6 Bible translations (KJV, NKJV, ESV, NIV, NLT, NASB), original Greek and Hebrew text, verse insights, historical context, practical application, ambient nature sounds, and an AI-powered guidance counselor grounded exclusively in biblical wisdom.
Most core features of the App, including daily Bible verses, battle verses, and study tools, are available offline. AI-powered guidance requires an active internet connection.
Age Requirements and Restrictions
Daily Sword is rated 12+ and requires age verification during onboarding. Age cannot be skipped and must be confirmed before using the App.
Users under 12: Not permitted to use the App
Users aged 12–16: Full access to daily verses, verse archive, and most spiritual warfare categories. AI Guidance, subscription options (Paywall), and the following battle categories are not available: Lust, Addiction, Grief, and Gluttony. The Guidance tab is completely hidden from the navigation bar.
Users aged 17 and older: Full, unrestricted access to all features, all battle categories, AI Guidance, and subscription options.
Age information is stored locally on the user’s device and is not transmitted to our servers or shared with any third party.
Scripture-First Commitment
Daily Sword is built on the conviction that the Bible is the ultimate and sufficient authority for faith and life. The AI guidance feature exists to serve Scripture, not replace it. Every response is rooted in and directed back to God’s Word. The AI is Bible-only — it does not incorporate secular psychology, worldly advice, or any wisdom outside of Scripture. It does not generate doctrine, offer prophetic claims, or speak with the authority of Scripture itself.
We encourage all users to test what they read against the Bible, seek counsel from their pastor or church community, and rely on the Holy Spirit for discernment. Daily Sword is designed to complement your walk with God and your local church, never to substitute for either.
AI Guidance Disclaimer
The AI-powered spiritual guidance provided by Daily Sword (available to users aged 17 and older) is for informational and devotional purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional counseling, medical advice, pastoral care, or mental health treatment. While the AI draws exclusively from Scripture and biblical scholarship, it is a technology tool with inherent limitations and may occasionally err. If you are experiencing a crisis or need professional help, please contact a qualified counselor, therapist, or emergency service.
Subscription Terms
Daily Sword offers a premium subscription tier called Guidance Plus (available to users aged 17 and older) which provides enhanced access to the AI guidance feature:
Monthly: $9.99 per month
Yearly: $69.99 per year (save 42%)
Both plans include a 7-day free trial for new subscribers
Free trial includes 50,000 tokens to experience the full feature
Guidance Plus includes 200,000 tokens per month with 100,000 grace tokens
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. Subscription options are not displayed to users aged 12–16.
Free Tier
All users aged 17 and older have access to daily Bible verses, study tools, verse sharing, ambient sounds, and spiritual warfare features at no cost. Free users also receive 1 free guidance message per day to experience the AI-powered spiritual guidance feature. Users aged 12–16 have access to daily verses, the archive, and age-appropriate battle categories at no cost.
Billing and Payments
Subscription billing is handled through RevenueCat and your device’s app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). Payment is charged to your app store account upon confirmation of purchase. Subscription management and cancellation are handled through your app store account settings.
Content Use
All content provided through the App, including Bible verses, AI-generated guidance, nature backgrounds, ambient sounds, and app materials, is intended for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content from the App without prior written permission.
You may not use the App or its content to train, fine-tune, or develop competing AI systems.
Verse Sharing
Daily Sword allows users to share verse cards featuring the verse text, reference, and Daily Sword branding over nature backgrounds. Shared content is generated from the App and intended for personal, non-commercial sharing only.
User Conduct
You agree to use the App in a manner consistent with its intended purpose. You may not:
Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Misrepresent your age during the onboarding verification process
Attempt to manipulate or abuse the AI guidance system
Interfere with the App’s operation or other users’ experience
Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the App
Modifications and Availability
We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue the App or any of its features at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the App.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Daily Sword and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App — including but not limited to reliance on AI-generated guidance. The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
Governing Law
These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Virginia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
