Hey! My name is dan, 20 year old creator of Daily Sword.

Not long ago, I was a slave to sin. By the grace of God, Jesus broke those chains. Today, I'm blessed with a beautiful wife and our newborn son, Gideon — a daily reminder of God's faithfulness.

I created Daily Sword for a simple reason:

I wanted to memorize Scripture so I could use it as a sword when temptation comes.

This app was born out of my own struggle to stay rooted in God's Word. I had never built an app before. I didn't know how to code. Yet step by step, God carried this project forward. His guidance has been an integral part of the design and build process — and I believe that shows.

Daily Sword was built with God, for God, to help people like me hide Scripture in their hearts, overcome temptation, and grow closer to Jesus.
